The concert title "A Gold and Silver Christmas Celebration" marked the 50th Aniversary of the Abingdon Operatic Society, hence the Gold and Abingdon Town Bands Conductor Mr Steve Rich's 25 years successfully conducting the Band hence the Silver. The Concert was A sell out and a great success.
